Become a PADI Divemaster on Koh Lanta and earn your first professional rating at one of Thailand's most varied dive destinations. Across roughly four weeks you build stamina and dive-leadership skills, guiding fun divers and assisting on courses at sites from the coral walls of Koh Bida to the deep, current-swept pinnacles of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. You graduate certified to supervise certified divers, lead trips and assist instructors anywhere PADI is recognised.
PADI Divemaster is the entry-level professional rating in the PADI system. Once certified you can guide certified divers, assist instructors with students, conduct scuba reviews and lead the PADI ReActivate and Discover Local Diving programs, and it is the prerequisite for the Instructor Development Course.
Divemaster training rotates through the range of sites around Koh Lanta: shallow coral walls and turtles at Koh Bida, the caverns and whale-shark season at Koh Haa, the Kled Keaw wreck at 26m, and the big-fish drift pinnacles of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. The November-to-April season brings warm 27-30°C water and the calm offshore conditions a candidate needs to build experience.
