This dry, classroom-based programme teaches primary and secondary care that applies on the boat, on the beach or anywhere else, and it satisfies the CPR and first-aid prerequisite for the Rescue Diver course and professional ratings. No diving or swimming is involved.
PADI Emergency First Response follows internationally recognised CPR and first-aid guidelines and satisfies the first-aid and CPR prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course, Divemaster and instructor ratings. A refresh is recommended every 24 months.
This is a dry, classroom-based course run at the Phuket dive centre, with no in-water component, so it can be scheduled in any season including the monsoon months.
