Become a calmer, more capable diver with the PADI Rescue Diver course in Moalboal, Cebu, often called the most rewarding course in the PADI system. Practising along the Panagsama Beach house reef, you learn to anticipate, prevent and manage diving emergencies in the same warm, accessible water where many local divers train. The dive course builds the skills to help yourself and others, and you finish certified to handle real diving incidents with confidence.
PADI Rescue Diver requires current Emergency First Response (CPR and first aid) training and is the prerequisite for the Master Scuba Diver rating and the Divemaster course. Junior Rescue Diver is available from age 12.
Rescue exercises run on the gentle Panagsama Beach house reef, where the shallow shelf and easy shore access make a controlled setting for surface and underwater rescue practice in warm 27-29°C water. The calmest conditions fall between December and May.
