Course overview

Add the PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Dahab, with day trips to the SS Thistlegorm in Ras Mohamed National Park, a WWII cargo wreck loaded with motorcycles, trucks and trains. Closer to home, Dahab's coastal sites give controlled depth to build wreck-penetration confidence.

The PADI Wreck Diver pathway

PADI teaches Wreck Diver via eLearning and four dives, awarding a PADI specialty card. Penetration is limited per PADI recreational standards, and Project AWARE wreck-preservation ethics are emphasised.

Where you'll dive in Dahab

Dahab operators run boat trips north to the SS Thistlegorm and Ras Mohamed area, one of the Red Sea's best-known wreck sites, while reef walls near town give depth and structure for line-handling practice in clear water.
