Go beyond a single try dive with the SSI Basic Diver programme in Malta and Gozo, which teaches the core scuba skills and lets you make supervised dives to around 12 metres. Training in the calm, clear water off Gozo and Cirkewwa, you build real competence and can later upgrade the credit toward full Open Water certification. No prior experience is required.
SSI Basic Diver is a recognised entry certification that lets you dive under professional supervision and credits directly toward the full SSI Open Water Diver rating when you continue.
Basic Diver training uses sheltered, shallow shore sites on Gozo and around Cirkewwa, where calm, clear conditions make learning the fundamentals relaxed and rewarding.
