Course overview

Reach the deeper reefs, walls and wreck decks of the Florida Keys with the SSI Deep Diving specialty in Key Largo. Diving progressively toward 40 metres, you learn deep-dive planning, gas management and narcosis awareness on real local sites. You finish certified to dive the recreational depth limit and reach Key Largo's deeper attractions safely.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent certification
• Good buoyancy control and air consumption
• Medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Digital theory and progressive depth

   Complete the SSI Deep Diving module, then dive deeper Key Largo reefs and walls with controlled depth progression.
2. Day2
   Toward 40 metres

   Deeper dives with narcosis and gas-management drills on a wall or wreck, followed by certification.
