Take the SSI Wreck Diving specialty in the Seychelles and explore the Indian Ocean shipwrecks around Mahe, from the Twin Barges to the large Ennerdale. The course teaches safe survey, mapping and navigation techniques over four dives on wrecks that have become busy artificial reefs. You complete it certified to plan and enjoy recreational wreck dives.
SSI Wreck Diving is a recreational specialty centred on safe, non-penetration exploration, with the option to progress to advanced wreck training. The specialty counts toward SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition.
SSI wreck dives use Mahe's wreck sites such as the Twin Barges and the Ennerdale, which sit on sand beside granite reef and draw reef sharks, batfish and morays in 26-30C water. Visibility is best in the calmer April-May and September-November windows.
